How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your Expert Shipping account:

  1. Log in to your account at https://app.expertshipping.ca

  2. Go to your Account Settings.

  3. Click on « Request Account Deletion ».

  4. Follow the confirmation steps. You may be asked to confirm your identity for security purposes.

Alternatively, you may contact our support team directly at support@expertshipping.ca using the subject line:

« Account Deletion Request »

Your request will be processed within 7 business days.


What Happens to Your Data

When your account is deleted:

  • ✅ Your personal data (name, email, phone number, address) will be permanently erased.

  • ✅ Your shipment history and saved addresses will be deleted.

  • ✅ Any payment details stored in your profile will be removed.

  • ❌ We do not retain your data unless required for legal or financial compliance.

  • 📦 Transaction records (e.g. invoice numbers) may be retained for a limited period (up to 6 years) to comply with Canadian business regulations.


Retention Period

Some data related to financial transactions or shipment tracking may be retained temporarily for regulatory, legal, or operational purposes, even after account deletion. These records are stored securely and are not used for marketing or analytics.
